I love covenant. I can enter Covenant but only after passing the test at the gate, after that I can go in and out. But in recent reincarnations, I leave Covenant alone until I have a decent sniper rifle and take out the gate man. Then I walk away and go 'elsewhere' to get rid of the Covenant baddies. From that point on I am public enemy No 1. Was hoping to ally with the covenant people and set up a recruitment station using their fancy Safe test to filter out synths! lol. Sadly, I don't see a way to ally with the town without killing them all..
