I think it won't have any problem. You can see it running Control in the tech demos, hence my opinion. Probably 720p 30 FPS though, which is more than enough for a mobile device (at least for me). #2. Magoo Jul 18, 2021 @ 12:19pm. Originally posted by 3N3RM4X: Originally posted by Magoo:

Odd. I decided to try it after your post here and all worked first try on Proton 7.0-2. One issue that bugged me for a little while was that the fps seemed to tank and be very inconsistent, hovering around 36-42fps and things felt sluggish. But if you open the Steam Deck menu - solid 60fps instantly in the background and animations smooth up. The latest update was anxiously awaited by those playing either Forza Horizon 5, Resident Evil 4, or the new Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty game. According to the release notes, the new update fixes a significant focus issue with Forza Horizon 5. The aforementioned Mesa 23.1 graphics driver update is bringing both functional as well as performance fixes. We're talking about a 512 core graphics chip, clocked at 1.0–1.6GHz, with a maximum theoretical performance of 1.63 TFLOPS — a paltry figure compared to the best graphics cards. The Steam DeckIt is slightly faster than the Deck’s 512GB drive, though, by virtue of it using the newer PCIe 4.0 interface. The Steam Deck uses PCIe 3.0, so while it’s still oodles faster than any hard drive or SATA-based SSD would be, the ROG Ally pipped it in my game load time benchmarks.
